Yup, night trek and photography in Namsan Tower in Seoul, South Korea is highly possible. I definitely recommend this to any photography enthusiast. Namsan Tower is one of the iconic landmarks in Seoul, South Korea. It is one of the top must-see destinations when you’re visiting the country.

Expect to see a lot of people while in the tower base area. The lovelocks, viewdecks overlooking much of the city and the tower itself are already great photography subjects. But one real magic is waiting for the sunset and trekking down the easy and lighted trail, often with concrete steps and stopping for interesting shots.

I don’t encourage you to walk up the trail to save your energy. You can take the ccable car or bus going up, then do the night trek going down. The trail is by the cable car platform.

What many don’t know is that you can actually do a lot of trekking in the area with several trails leading to the site. So one time, I decided that i can do night photography while trekking at the safe trails that are also developed with concrete and wooden steps. It is so amazing to see so many people walking up and down the trail at night as the trails are also well-lighted and safety is a given.
