PINOYTOURIST is the brainchild of Caloy Libosada.

He wrote the first Pinoy-authored backpacking book on the Philippines titled, 26 Days Around the Philippines which had become the primary field guide of the first few Pinoy explorers of their own country.

Recognizing the increasing number of Filipino travelers both in their own territory and a growing list of other countries (despite the weak passport), Caloy and his friends in the travel industry are trying to fill in some gaps for the Pinoy tourists to become more informed and savvy in discovering new and exciting places, literally in every corner of the world.
