If you think of a good reason for travelling, one major consideration is your physical condition. And yes, they say that age is just a number. But those bones and thinning muscles sure have ways to tie you down. Plus your wizened old mind will tell you that every corner is a dangerous place. But travel for young people do not conform to those limitations.

Actually, I have organized numerous trips with young students and saw how much change, appreciation and inspiration they have gained in discovering new places and getting to do what excites them that they cannot experience in the comforts of their home and community.
