The Colorful Seoul Dream Forest in South Korea

Because of the limited amount of time exploring this country, most foreign tourists would miss the Seoul Dream Forest. But for those who had the chance to visit this greenery in one part of Seoul (mostly expats), spending a few hours in this place is something they treasure.

Specially in spring and autumn, the park bursts into a colorful canvass of trees with their leaves and flowers filling the scenery,

And the good part is, compared to many known parks in Seoul, this place is not filled with people taking and posing for photos.

Although I visited the Seoul Dream Forest a few times, the most memorable was during the soring season when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, with an added drama of dusk and a bit of pouring rain. Mannn!… that moment was magical!!

There are also pocket parks like a deer enclosure where you can see, well, deers. And there are also restaurants where the meals did not disappoint us.

Here are some photos I got of that visit to the Seoul Dream Forest

This is what greets you when you visit the Dream Forest during spring season. One of the better parts of our visit was it was raining a bit and there were very few people, excepts for local pedestrians, in the park.

Since it was already dusk, it was a big challenge to take some decent photos. But the actual experience was actually very memorable.

Perhaps when you get enough time to visit the Seoul Dream Forest, you may include this in your must-visit list. Or why don’t you extend your stay for a full-on cherry blossom or autumn colors visit in Seoul?
