Adrian Constantino is one of the bird guides at Birding Adventure Philippines who specialize in showing his guests the Philippines' gorgeous endemic birds. His love for travel has brought him to different places and has given him extensive experience in birdwatching in Luzon, Palawan, Bohol, Negros and Mindanao. His training as a Molecular Biologist and the abundance of green spaces in the workplace has helped him with his birding skills: being observant and taking notes of bird details, behavior and bird calls. He is an avid nature photographer and an outdoor enthusiast, being one not only with the birds, but also with insects, butterflies, plants and other wildlife. He is a co-author of the book "A Naturalist Guide to the Birds of the Philippines" by John Beaufoy Publishing, UK and is a resource person and lecturer for the Philippine Derpartment of Tourism about birds, birdwatching and nature appreciation. He manages Birding Adventure Philippines’ images, videos and the website at www.birdingphilippines.com.

Red-vented Cockatoos. Used to be spread in many parts of the Philippines, but due to hunting and habitat loss, are now confined mostly in Palawan. You will learn so many things on a birdwatching trip in the country.

Scale-feathered Malkoha. You’ll be surprised how many unique bird species we have in the Philippines when you join a birdwatching trip.

If you have that affinity with nature, even for a tiny bit, joining Adri in one of his trips would surely put more quality experience (and learning!) on your time spent in a natural environment..

From small, endemic and migratory birds that are very hard to spot, to the magnificent Philippine Eagle in the wild, Adri and his team can help you witness those flyers in their natural habitats.

Part of his birding adventure would be to seek out so-called nocturnal species like this owl that are only active at night.
