Robert is considered the artists’ artist. This prolific guy has produced varied and countless works of art that are are found in books, bags, magazines, and even buildings and malls. He also produces some of his art works for his family’s well-known and well-loved art and craft store, Papemelroti.

And it is no surprise that as a Pinoy traveller, he never fails to bring along his art tools that, depending on his destination, may vary from complete stuff when he has the luxury of space in his bag, down to his moleskin sketch notes for real-deal backpacking.

Robert has the monicker, Sketching Backpacker. Yup, he authored the very first art book of its kind with the same title.
