Seoul's Grevin Museum
NOTICE!!:
Grevin Museum closed down because of the Covid-19 pandemic. I am just keeping this blog page for the memories.
Although located in the midst of the city of Seoul, the Grevin Museum is little known to most Pinoy tourists.
This is Seoul’s version of Madame Tussauds’ wax museum where you can find a lot of Hollywood and Kpop idol life-sized wax images.
I totally forgot the exact amount of the entrance fee, but it should be in the vicinity of 18,000 won, and you bring home a lot of instagram photos with your idols and prominent people. I’ve had chances with Gandhi, Bruce Lee, Michael Jackson…… Oh, my…… my age is showing….
Would I recommend this to Pinoy tourists? Yes, for the photo value. But…. you have to be there when it opens (I guess 10 A.M. or 11 A.M.). Never in the afternoon when bus loads of tourists from other Asian countries start streaming in. When you get there before the crowds, you’re assured of a quality experience and “alone moments” with your idols.
Grevin Museum is located right in front of Lotte Hotel and its just walking distance from Myeongdong and the Cheonggyecheon Stream (and the city hall).
